The Michigan Snowboard Club comprised mostly of (but not exclusively) University of Michigan students that share a love for snowboarding. The club has members of various skill levels, ranging from terrain park experts to first-time riders.
The Club has two official trips: A car-pooled trip to Canada and a charter-bus trip to Colorado. The club also attempts to organize various local trips, including Mt. Brighton. We also organize rail jams at parks around campus.
MSC is mostly a social club with frequent parties throughout campus. The club has two progressives, where members follow a route to different houses. Members are also free to announce parties to other members. For spring break, the good times start on the bus and doesn’t stop until the bus returns to Ann Arbor.
The club is not exclusive to snowboarders only. In fact, there are plenty of skiers in the club. Usually, snowboarders only slightly outnumber skiers on trips.
MSC offers its members discounts at local snowboard shops in Ann Arbor.
The club is an excellent social club that connects snowboarders throughout the Ann Arbor area to get the most out of the Michigan winter season.
